The Eastside’s Top Restaurants for Dinner with a View

View from Salish Lodge Dining Room, Snoqualmie Falls, Snoqualmie, WA

There is no shortage of options for scenic dining on Seattle’s Eastside. From sweeping skylines and waterfront views of Lake Washington, to the greenery and mountain tops of the Snoqualmie Valley, we’re so excited to share some of our favorite spots with you. Without further ado – let’s dig in!

Salish Lodge & Spa (Snoqualmie)

Located at the top of Snoqualmie Falls, the Salish Lodge & Spa is a quintessential Pacific Northwest retreat featuring an 86 guest room lodge, two dining options, and a full service spa. Both dining options feature jaw-dropping views of the Falls and Snoqualmie River below. The Dining Room, the Salish Loge & Spa’s more formal option, offers a mouth watering line-up of surf and turf options, as well as a vegan specific menu for plant based guests. The Attic, a more casual dining option, features a wide variety of menu items, but highlights include stone fired pizzas fresh out of their stone hearth oven, and seasonal cocktails.

Aside from the fantastic views and food, some of the things we love most are their use of seasonal, local ingredients, and the overall experience. We spent our wedding night here, and waking up to a rainbow over the huge waterfall was one of the most magical experiences of our lives. It’s hard to believe this gem is right in our own back yard!

Mount Si Golf Course (North Bend)

If fine dining isn’t your thing, or you’re looking to couple your meal with a round of golf or scenic hike, we recommend heading out to the Mount Si Golf Course in North Bend. Situated right at the base of the gorgeous Mt. Si, the restaurant located at the Mount Si Golf Course offers a selection of burgers, sandwiches and more, with an incredible view of the nearby Mountain and outdoor patio seating option.

The Calcutta Grill at the Newcastle Golf Club (Newcastle)

You don’t have to love golf to enjoy the views you’ll find on the two outdoor dining patios at Calcutta Grill. Found 900 ft. above the Puget Sound at the Newcastle Golf Club and offering uninterrupted panoramic views of the Seattle skyline, the Calcutta Grill is home to one of the Eastside’s best happy hours and a diverse dinner menu, featuring both meat and unique plant based options.

Daniel’s Broiler (Bellevue)

One of the Seattle area’s most iconic steak house chains, Daniel’s Broiler in Bellevue is located on the 21st floor of a Downtown Bellevue high rise. Served alongside breath taking views of the Olympic Mountain Range and Seattle skyline, is a menu of award winning steak and seafood entrees. This is definitely one of the priciest spots on our list, but is worth visiting at least once if you appreciate fine dining and are looking to splurge.

Ascend Prime Steak and Sushi (Bellevue)

The only spot on our list that we have yet to personally dine at (hopefully we’ll change that soon!), and also on the spendier side, is Ascend Prime Steak and Sushi. Ascend offers a unique PNW twist to the classic steak house menu – in addition to their top quality steak offerings, they have a variety of sushi rolls and sashimi. Rounding out their options is a separate fully plant based menu, making Ascend a standout pick for fine dining guests with a variety of dietary preferences. You can find them on the 31st floor of the Lincoln Square South-Tower in Downtown Bellevue, where incredible lake and city views are featured through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Anthony’s HomePort (Kirkland)

The very first Anthony’s HomePort location, founded in 1975, is situated on the Kirkland waterfront and offers incredible views of Lake Washington and the Seattle Skyline. With 19 locations throughout Washington, Oregon and Idaho, this Pacific Northwest chain knows seafood. We have had countless celebrations here with family over the years, and never a disappointing experience.

If you’re up for an early meal, their “Sunset Dinner Special” offers a 3 course meal for $25 per person – a significant discount from their standard entree prices.

Beach Cafe at the Woodmark Hotel (Kirkland)

There is no question why several couples we know have been married at the Woodmark Hotel. This lakefront property has year-round vacation vibes, and provides a high quality experience without pretentiousness. Their menu is primarily seafood based, with a couple of meat and plant based options. Whether staying for a night or just for a meal, the Woodmark is a sure bet for stunning Lake Washington views and a memorable time.

Tanoor (Sammamish)

The newest restaurant on our list and another more casual option is Tanoor in Sammamish. Offering authentic Lebanese fare that is Halal and celiac friendly, their menu features items such as cold and hot mezze appetizers, kabobs, shawarma, and sandwiches that include many vegetarian friendly options. In a town of more mainstream offerings, they are an incredible new addition with a great view of Sammamish and unique open air indoor dining experience.

That rounds out our list – be sure to let us know if you check out one of the spots mentioned above and what you think!
